Defective Stryker LFIT Hip Implants
Stryker recalled certain sizes of its Low Friction Ion Treatment (LFIT) Anatomic CoCr V40 femoral head because the taper lock can fail. The taper lock connects the femoral head to the femoral neck. The recalled Stryker LFIT hip implants were used between 2006 and 2012.
