Stryker Lfit V40 Hip Implant

New York Defective Hip Implant Attorneys

We live in an amazing time when many parts of our bodies can be replaced, extending quality of life well beyond what used to be possible. But the medical devices used to replace human joints are often rushed to market, only to be recalled later due to dangerous and deadly defects. Recalls come after the implants have been placed in patients. Certain sizes of the Stryker LFIT V40 femoral head were recalled in August 2016. If you have been harmed by a defective Stryker hip implant, the experienced New York defective medical device attorneys of Panzavecchia & Associates, PLLC can help.

Our defective hip implant attorneys represent victims across the US. We have law offices in New York and Florida and are available 24-7 for a free case evaluation.

Defective Stryker LFIT Hip Implants

Stryker recalled certain sizes of its Low Friction Ion Treatment (LFIT) Anatomic CoCr V40 femoral head because the taper lock can fail. The taper lock connects the femoral head to the femoral neck. The recalled Stryker LFIT hip implants were used between 2006 and 2012.
